How does the Intercooler work?: The Intercooler is a clip on cooling attachment that pulls hot air away from the console providing an optimal environmental temperature for the console.
Does the Intercooler steal power away from the Xbox 360?: No. The Intercooler’s unique power pass through system does not pull or limit the amount of power being sent to the console.
Will the Intercooler enhance my graphics or performance?: No. The Intercooler is strictly a cooling device. It will not enhance or change the performance of your console.
How does the Intercooler attach to the Xbox 360?: The Intercooler is powered by the Xbox 360’s power cord, no additional cords or power plugs are needed.
How do I turn on the Intercooler?: The Intercooler turns on automatically with the console. No additional switches are necessary.

Problem:

My power cord won’t fit into the Intercooler EX.

Solution:

Microsoft has recently changed their power cord so it no longer requires a push button release. Older versions of the Intercooler EX still contain the clip for these power cords to lock on to. This clip looks like a black tab located in the center of the power cord connection port of the Intercooler. You can safely remove this black tab from the Intercooler EX with a pair of needle nose pliers by gently rocking it back and forth. This will not damage the functionality of the Intercooler, and the Intercooler will still be under full warranty from Nyko. If you are uncomfortable doing this procedure yourself, please call custom support.

Problem:

My Xbox 360 or Intercooler will not turn on with the Intercooler attached.

Solution:

Double check all connections and make sure there is a firm connection along all power ports. If problem persists, please call custom service

Problem:

I get red lights when I power my 360 console on with the Intercooler Attached

Solution:

There is an incomplete connection to your Xbox 360. Please check all power ports and AC ports and ensure all cables and plugs are firmly connected to the Xbox 360 and Intercooler EX.

Problem:

My Intercooler EX fans make a loud rattling or grinding noise.

Solution:

Remove the Intercooler from the Xbox 360 and clean the fans using a compressed air can. If the problem persists, please contact Nyko customer support.

Problem:

My power cord won’t fit into the Intercooler EX.

Solution:

My Xbox 360 or Intercooler will not turn on with the Intercooler attached.

Solution:
